Salsa Lisa’s Quick Recipes

  • Salsa Lisa Crockpot Chipotle Pot Roast

Follow your favorite pot roast recipe but substitute a container of Salsa Lisa Chipotle as the cooking liquid!  The Chipotle gives the roast a deep, rich flavor and you can use the remaining skimmed Chipotle sauce to mix with mayo and make delicious Chipotle pot roast sandwiches.  Yum!

  • Roasted Veggie Panini

Start by roasting or grilling your favorite sliced vegetables—bell peppers, zucchini, summer squash, red onions, green onions, eggplant, beets, leeks, cauliflower, asparagus, sweet potatoes, artichoke hearts—create your signature!  Mix goat cheese with Salsa Lisa Tomatillo and spread on panini bread, assemble your veggies and toast away!  So tasty!

  • Salsa Lisa Fire Roasted Rice Bowl

Start with brown rice in a bowl and add your favorite ingredients—chopped chicken, pork, steak, shrimp, bell peppers, green onions, carrots, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, zucchini, summer squash, spinach, cabbage, seeds—get creative!  Fold in the savory flavors of Salsa Lisa Fire Roasted, garnish with cilantro and enjoy your healthy, hearty creation!  (Pro tip—the Salsa Lisa Tomatillo is a great partner with the Fire Roasted!)

  • Southwestern Pizza

Cover a prebaked pizza crust with brushed olive oil, a layer of shredded mozzarella, a layer of shredded cooked chicken (roasted, boiled or grilled works well), a layer of Salsa Lisa—try any of the flavors!—and add another layer of mozzarella, garnish with chopped cilantro.  Follow the pizza crust directions for baking and enjoy a spin on an old favorite!  Substitute black beans and red onions for a vegetarian option.

  • Salsa Lisa’s Sweet Marmalade

Combine Salsa Lisa with orange marmalade in about a 4:1 ratio of salsa to jam, pour over cream cheese or goat cheese for a quick and tasty appetizer spread.  Get creative!  You can mix mango jam with Salsa Lisa Chipotle, berry preserves with Salsa Lisa Real Hot, or cranberry jam with Salsa Lisa Pineapple Ginger to serve alongside a holiday ham!

  • Fire Roasted Hummus

Simply fold Salsa Lisa Fire Roasted into your favorite hummus for a signature house recipe that is sophisticated and delicious.  Also fabulous with Salsa Lisa Chipotle.
